Sean Au who is a senior trainer for ConsenSys in Asia Pacific looked at the different types of stablecoins. At the time Coindex followed 17 now they follow 50.
Tether was capitalised at $3.5 billion now $6.3 billion. It was only March 2019 that Tether ( which at the time was capitalised at $2 billion) said they did not have a $ for every Tether token but the concerns around Tether seem to But with interest rates at almost ZERO how do the issuers of stablecoins make money will they have to start introducing fees?
Why over the last 3 years hasTether’s capitalisation risen like a staircase in steps?
Binance are offering 6% p.a. which may help explain why the amount of money held in Tether has increased so much?
